ST. LOUIS -- Beatlemania is back with a spectacular cosmic flare for one night only! On Feb. 8, the Saint Louis Science Center’s James S. McDonnell Planetarium presents two unique, one-hour LASERIUM® shows set to Beatles music and performed live by Pepperland: The Beatles Revue Band.

LASERIUM: Pepperland – The Beatles Revue takes place on the very weekend commemorating The Beatles first American television appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show fifty years ago. An estimated 73 million viewers tuned in to watch the British band make music and television history.

“It’s our official salute to one of the greatest rock bands ever,” said John Lakey, director of the Planetarium. “This is the only place where you’ll see a show mixing laser lights, Beatles’ songs and a live band.”

This production of LASERIUM and live Beatles music will mark the first appearance by Pepperland at the Planetarium. Formed in 1996, the sextet has become a St. Louis favorite bringing its own blend of artistry and interpretation to the music of “The Fab Four” -- John, Paul, George and Ringo.

The two performances are at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. (doors open 30 minutes prior to each show.). Tickets are $20 per show. Space is limited, so advanced reservations are recommended. Please call 314.289.4424 to make your reservations. A limited number of floor mats are available, but you’re invited to bring pillows and blankets to make your LASERIUM experience as comfortable as possible. Beverages and snacks will be available for purchase.
