School supply ads are prolific right now, and the prices are rock-bottom. Buy now and have enough for the entire year. Remember, a pack of notebook paper that is on sale for pennies now will be much higher in January.
Some of us are collecting supplies for our own families and some for charities. There is a wonderful deal at Target right now that can ease the cost considerably.
Target has their Up & Up brand of school supplies on sale this week, and a Target coupon for $1.50 off Up & Up school supplies on their site. This is the best possible time to stock up. The stores allow four of the same coupon per transaction, so visit more than once and bring the kids to purchase some too.
Some examples of freebies are:
Up & Up Clear Cover Binder Pocket $1
Up & Up Tab Index cards 5-count $1
Up & Up Wood pencils 24 ct $1
Up & Up 1″ 3-ring binder $1
Up & Up College or Wide ruled filler paper 100 sheet with reinforced holes $1.50
Up & Up drawing paper pad 40 sheet 9″x12″ $1.50
And there are many, many more items that are are less than $1.50. The register takes the coupon value down to the price of the item, so no overage, but still free.
Not a freebie, but my favorite this week is computer paper that is on sale for $3, making it $1.50 a pack after the coupon.
There is also a Target coupon for a free 24 pack of Up & Up crayons when you buy two school supplies. Mine didn't scan, but they verified that I had two (computer paper) and put it through.
