Mehlville Hockey Club Steps Back on the Ice

Mehlville Hockey Club last week stepped back on the ice with their annual summer on ice conditioning camps.  The players have been busy this summer improving their game with a defenseman camp back in June, as well as a twice a week, eight week long plyometrics camp with PlyoCity trainers.  But in the past two weeks, the Mehlville Hockey Club really got busy.  They had their welcome meeting on July 30th, which had a great turnout.  The welcome meeting was also the kickoff for their fall fundraiser - selling Park Avenue Coffee gooey butter cakes.  Then on Aug. 1, the development players stepped on the ice for their summer on ice conditioning camp, while the Varsity players got back on the ice on Aug. 4th.  It should be an exciting season, with Coach Arno heading up the Varsity team once again.  In his first year as Varsity Coach, Mehlville won the Founder's Day Cup. Who knows what this year will bring, but we know it will be fun to watch and the players are getting ready.  You can follow Mehlville Hockey Club on Facebook and Twitter.
