Arrest Warrant Leads to Meth Lab Discovery in Oakville

After serving an arrest warrant at an Oakville home, St. Louis County police found the remains of a meth lab.

Police say they arrested a man from Jefferson County who had several outstanding warrants and a woman who was with him at the home in the 5200 block of Camelot Estates Drive.

While at the home, police found an inactive meth lab, drugs, guns and several items that had been stolen, including five cars, a motorcycle and an ATV, said Sgt. Dave Ryan, of the St. Louis County Police Department's Fourth Precinct. The vehicles were towed from the property. 

Ryan said a child also was also found in the house, but because the the meth lab was inactive, no charges would be filed related to the child in the case. 

Two neighbors Patch spoke with were unaware of the incident. They both declined interviews.

The man and and woman currently are being questioned by police.
