O'Charley's closed Friday after a driver in a red minivan crashed through the front doors of the restaurant at approximately 5:15 p.m.
The driver was trying to park the car when it jumped the curb and drove into the lobby.
Ed Berkel, with the Mehlville Fire Protection District, said no one in the restaurant was hurt and the couple in the car refused to go to a hospital.

The van drove through the double front doors and into the waiting area, cutting power and shattering the glass. The restaurant did not have any structural damage.
Berkel said the car narrowly missed the hostess stand and a serving station.

O'Charley's is expected to reopen at 11 a.m. Saturday.
