Hilmer Sworn in for Mehlville Fire Board

Aaron Hilmer was sworn in Monday for another term on the Mehlville Fire Protection District Board of Directors.

In front of a packed room, Aaron Hilmer took an oath of office administered by Mehlville Fire Chief Tim White for another term on the Mehlville Fire Protection District Board of Directors.

More than 20 people were present as Hilmer swore to support the Constitution of both the U.S. and Missouri and perform his duties to the best of his ability impartially in the interest of the whole fire district.

Hilmer was elected to the board April 5 after narrowly defeating Mike Klund by 213 votes. In his next six years, he vowed to maintain the district's buildings and service and put more of an emphasis on training.
