How to Survive a Mass Shooting Incident

St. Louis County Police Department offers a video to help people who may find themselves in the middle of an active shooter event, such as the ones in Colorado or Columbine.

Based on the and three deaths at Texas A&M, St. Louis County Police Department added a video on its website in an effort to provide guidance for those who might find themselves in the middle of a life-threatening situation.

The video can be viewed with this article or found on the county police website. It is titled, "Run. Hide. Fight."

The professionally-made video provides a chilling scenario that, sadly, some people have found themselves in recently, said Sgt. James McWilliams, a media relations officer with the St. Louis County Police Department. It explains what steps people can take to survive a potentially deadly situation.
