An attorney for principal Jim Walters maintains that his client is innocent of any charges filed against him.
On March 16, from a park ranger at Forest Park in St. Louis City. Attorney Neil Bruntrager said he couldn't comment on the details of the case, but said Walters denies all wrongdoing.
"I firmly believe that he'll be completely vindicated in this matter," he said.
Walters was scheduled to appear in front of Judge James Wahl at the St. Louis municipal courthouse on Tuesday afternoon, but his date was postponed until May 8.
Wahl said Bruntrager requested to postpone the case.
Bruntrager has been an attorney for 31 years and specializes in cases that are in the media spotlight, notes his firm's website. He started as a city prosecutor.
Walters was placed on . District officials said Walters will remain on leave until the investigation is complete.
