Update: Kingston Road Reopened after Fatal Car Accident
An accident closed Kingston Road in Mehlville for more than three hours. One fatality was reported.
A car accident on Kingston Road has left one man dead and closed the street between Terrell and Atlas drives from 8:20 a.m. until noon.

St. Louis County Police said a driver rear-ended another vehicle traveling northbound on Kingston Road. The driver then ricocheted off the hit vehicle into oncoming traffic and struck another car in the southbound lane.

The driver in the southbound vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. No other major injuries were reported.
Police have not released the name of the victim, but said he is in his late 50s or early 60s.
