Man Charged With Stalking After Calling His Ex-Wife From Mental Facility

A probation officer raised "significant public danger issues, especially regarding this victim," according to a court document.

A man has been charged with aggravated stalking after repeatedly calling an Oakville woman while he was in a mental facility. The man was on probation for after pleading guilty in 2011 to stalking the same woman, who is his ex-wife.

St. Louis County Police said Joshua David Francisco, 38, called his ex-wife seven times between 9 p.m. June 12 and 8:21 p.m. June 13. She lives in the 3100 block of Old Baumgartner Estates Court in Oakville 

Francisco was on probation after pleading guilty to two counts of aggravated stalking and five counts of violating a protection order. Those crimes also were against his ex-wife.

According to a court document, Francisco’s probation officer raised “significant public danger issues, especially regarding this victim.”

Francisco is being held in the St. Louis County Justice Center. Bail was set at $50,000, cash only.
