After arriving at the St. Charles home on the 400 block of Elmhurst, Wilson kicked in the back door. Once inside the home, Wilson chased the woman caring for the child upstairs, and punched the woman’s 15-year-old son in the face, police said in the report.

Wilson began chasing the woman down a hallway to the master bedroom when the son hit him in the back of the head with an iron fireplace poker. Wilson continued to chase the woman into the master bedroom and attempted to assault her, court documents read.

The 15-year-old continued hitting Wilson in the head and face with the poker until he lost his grip. Wilson, the son and the mother struggled over the poker. Wakeman entered the room and elbowed the 15-year-old in the face, the report said.

Wakeman grabbed Wilson and said, “Let’s go. The cops are on the way.”

On the way out, Wilson tried to force open a bedroom door and yelled, “Give me back my (expletive) daughter.”

Wilson was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit at Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur to treat his injuries.

Court documents indicate that Wilson and Temm are active heroin users. Wilson’s history includes endangering the welfare of a child, second- and third-degree assault and stealing, according to police reports.

Bond for each of the three defendants was set at $75,000.
