Oakville Man Sentenced for Fraud
Terry Tonsing Jr. will spend a year and a day in jail and pay restitution.
An Oakville man was sentenced to one year in federal prison and must pay $68,000 in restitution after defrauding his Fenton-based employer.
Terry Tonsing Jr., 35, of the 2100 block of Cliff Cave Crossing Court, to one count of felony mail fraud. He will be under court supervision for three years after his release.
Court documents show between 2003 and February 2007, Tonsing defrauded his employer, internet marketing firm C2 Communications, by using his company debit card for his personal food, travel, entertainment and for the mortgage on Oakville his residence. To conceal his actions, Tonsing had the statements sent to his home.

The total loss to C2 Communications is approximately $68,000 according to a release from the U.S. Justice Department.
