Oakville Resident Named Commander of County Police Affton/Southwest Precinct

He has an associate's degree from Meramec Community College.

Long time Oakville resident Chris Stocker is now commanding the St. Louis County Police Department Affton/Southwest Precinct, according to a press release from St. Louis County Police.

Captain Chris Stocker is a 30-year police veteran with the St. Louis County Police Department. Most recently he was Commander of the Intelligence Unit.

Stocker also served as a commander in the Municipal Services Unit and Bureau of Central Police Records. He was a watch commander in the South County Precinct and served in the Chief’s Office, Fleet Management, Drug Unit, Bureau of Special Investigations, Anti-Fence Unit and the Affton Southwest Precinct according to the press release.

He has an associate’s degree from Meramec Community College, and has received 29 awards, commendations and letters of appreciation.
