Officers Found Mehlville Man Driving Stolen Car, Police Say

St. Louis County Police said Taylor Michael Sanborn was driving a stolen 1999 Chrysler Cirrus and had marijuana in his pocket.

A Mehlville man faces charges that he stole a car in South County and possessed marijuana.

Taylor Michael Sanborn, 20, of the 4700 block of Tarlton Drive in Mehlville, was charged May 6 with first-degree tampering with a motor vehicle and possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana.

St. Louis County Police said Sanborn was driving a 1999 Chrysler Cirrus on Dec. 9 at Mattis Road and Tarlton Drive. The car had been reported stolen.

Police said Sanborn had marijuana in his pocket when he was arrested.

Bond has been set at $11,000 for Sanborn.
