The fifth annual Cops and Cowboys Fundraiser was held Wednesday at Texas Roadhouse.

A typical Wednesday night at the is busy, but by 6 p.m., patrons had to wait in the lobby and outside for their Western food.

The fifth annual Cops and Cowboys brought in a large crowd as St. Louis County and Kirkwood Police teamed up to raise money for the Special Olympics of Missouri.

"You see the same faces come and help out each year," Det. Aaron Schafer said. "With what we're doing, it allows the athletes to compete in a variety of sports around the state."
