Police Blotter: Attempted Robbery at Subway

The St. Louis County Police crime report from July 1 to July 10 includes incidents occurring in Mehlville.

July 1

Police arrested a suspect who had stolen a shopping basket full of DVDs on three occasions at the Target on Lindbergh Boulevard and in Arnold. The approximate value of stolen goods was $1,300. 

July 3

A wallet containing money, a drivers license and debit cards were stolen from a hotel on the 6600 block of Lindbergh Boulevard. 

July 4

Electronics and pills were reported stolen from a residence on the 100 block of Arlee Avenue. 

July 5

  • Police arrested a suspect for domestic assault in the second degree on the 2500 block of Mariner Drive. The victim was threatened with a knife. 
  • Tools were reported stolen from a car on the 1300 block of Millbay Court. 
  • A golf cart was reported stolen from a garage on the 9900 block of Linn Avenue. 
  • A catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle at the intersection of Interstate 55 and Reavis Barracks Road. 

July 6

  • A cell phone and prescription pills were reported stolen from a residence on the 100 block of Holden Avenue. 
  • Nothing was reported stolen from a residence on the 700 block of Lemay Ferry Road. 

July 8

Police arrested a suspect after attempting to rob the Subway on Telegraph Road. The suspect entered the store, implied they had a handgun and demanded money. The suspect fled after the clerk refused to give up money and was arrested minutes later. 

July 10

Jewelry and checks were reported stolen from a residence on the 2100 block of Telegraph Road.
