Police Blotter: Bank Robbery and Domestic Assault

The St. Louis County Police crime report from July 8 to July 17 includes incidents occurring in Mehlville, Oakville and Lemay.

July 8

  • . A male suspect left the scene in a newer model white minivan. 
  • A toolbox containing tools was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 12000 block of Old Tesson Road. 

July 11

  • A victim was robbed at gunpoint on the parking lot of River City Casino in Lemay. Two males fled the scene and officers saw the vehicle after a call was put out. Police chased the suspects into Columbia, IL, where the suspect's vehicle crashed in a corn field. Both suspects were apprehended. 
  • A mini motorcycle was reported stolen from a garage on 10 Buckley Road. 
  • A residence was broken into on the 1600 block of Union Road. A tool set, bicycle and money was reported stolen. 
  • Electronics, a pillowcase, coins and video games were reported stolen from a residence on the 5600 block of Golf Ridge A.

July 12

  • A suspect was arrested after violating a restraining order on the 3100 block of Lemay Ferry Road. The suspect broke into his ex-girlfriend's residence and was arrested after fleeing the scene.
  • Money, a rosary and keys were reported stolen from an apartment on the 400 block of Kingston Drive. 
  • A wallet, money and credit cards were reported stolen from a vehicle on the 300 block of Tuckahoe Drive. 

July 13

Police are looking for a suspect after on Lemay Ferry Road. The suspect entered the bank and demanded money from the drawer. No injuries were reported and the suspect fled on foot behind the bank and entered a two-tone, dark over light-colored Chevy pick-up truck. He is described as a white male in his late 30s wearing a construction fluorescent vest. 

July 14

  • Two suspects were arrested for robbery in the second degree after stealing clothing from JC Penny at the South County Mall. One suspect was arrested near their vehicle and the other fled on foot. The K-9 unit was deployed and located the other suspect by Office Max on Lemay Ferry Road. The suspect was taken into custody and a straight razor switch blade was seized. 
  • A white, 1991 Ford F-150 was reported stolen from the intersection of Interstate 55 and Union Road. 
  • A bank deposit was missing $675 from a business on the 12700 block of Southfork Road. 

July 15

  • A white, 1996 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera was reported stolen from the 3800 block of Paule Avenue. 
  • A suspect was arrested for rape. 
  • A brown, 1990 GMC van was reported stolen from the 800 block of Wachtel Avenue. 

July 16

  • A red and black 1996 Yamaha Timberwolf ATV was reported stolen from the 100 block of Felton Avenue. 
  • Police arrested a suspect for domestic assault in the second degree on the 200 block of Wachtel Avenue.  

July 17

Electronics and license plates were reported stolen from a vehicle on the 100 block of Kingston Drive.
