Police Blotter: Three Females Assault Police Officer

The St. Louis County Police crime report from April 28 to May 6 includes incidents occurring in Mehlville, Oakville and Lemay.

April 28

Liquor was reported stolen from the 11800 block of Tesson Ferry Road. 

May 1

  • Food was reported stolen from the 11800 block of Tesson Ferry Road. 
  • Air conditioning components were reported stolen from the 10400 block of Schuessler Road. 
  • A purse and wallet was reported stolen from the 4000 block of Bayless Avenue. 
  • Sunglasses were reported stolen from the 2000 block of Union Road. 
  • The manager at on Telegraph Road reported that a white male was sitting in a black, GMC Yukon and inhaling Air Duster out of a can. Officers contacted the suspect, who became uncooperative and resisted arrest. The subject was tased and pepper-sprayed. Police found 14 cans of Air Duster and an unmarked bottle of white and blue pills in the vehicle. 
  • Officers responded to a peace disturbance call involving three females on the 4400 block of Meramec Bottom Road. The three were reportedly arguing over receiving government housing benefits. One of the females could not follow instructions from the police officer and punched the officer in the face. The officer struggled with the suspect, and the two other females got physically involved. The two females were removed and the third was tased three times. All three were arrested for assault on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest, interfering, peace disturbance and destruction of property. They were transported to St. Louis County intake and released pending the application of a warrant. 

May 2

  • Police arrested a suspect for possession of drug paraphernalia at the intersection of Lemay Ferry and Forder roads. 
  • Three males assaulted a victim walking down the street at the intersection of Arlee and Clyde avenues. The victim was unable to give a description of the males, but heard two of them called Tony and Brandon. The victim was transported to for treatment. 
  • Two people were yelling at each other in an alleyway on the 900 block of Erskine Avenue. One suspect went to his residence and retrieved his wife's Browning shotgun. He returned and then stated it accidentally went off into the ground. The suspect hid the shotgun in the garage along with a rifle. Police seized both weapons along with the casing from the alley. 

May 3

  • Homeowners on the 300 block of Golden Valley Drive woke up to a noise coming from their attached garage and dogs barking. The homeowner's father found a man inside the 2009 Chevy Malibu parked in the garage. The suspect fled on foot. Police and canines searched for the suspect, who was described as an 18-year-old white male with acne wearing a dark shirt and blue jeans. Nothing was reported stolen. 
  • Jewelry was reported stolen from the . 
  • A television was reported stolen from the 800 block of Catskill Drive. 
  • Police arrested a suspect for domestic assault in the second degree on the 2000 block of Union Road. The victim was choked. 

May 4

Electronics were reported stolen from the 6600 block of Christopher View Drive. 

May 5

  • Electronics were reported stolen from the 600 block of Kayser Avenue. 
  • A woman returned home and found her basement door open. Unknown suspects broke the glass on the basement door and entered the residence. The home was ransacked and a 32-inch, flat screen TV was removed from the bedroom and found in the backyard.  
  • A black, 2006 Harley Davidson Springer Softail was reported stolen from the intersection of Telegraph and Baumgartner roads. 

May 6

Police arrested a suspect for domestic assault in the second degree on the 300 block of Lemay Ferry Road. The victim was choked.
