Police Blotter: No Injuries When Shots Fired Outside Home

The St. Louis County Police crime report from Sept. 1 to Sept. 10 includes incidents occurring in Mehlville, Oakville and Lemay.

The following information was supplied by the St. Louis County Police Department.

Sept. 2

  • A green, 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier was reported stolen from the 12700 block of Southfork Avenue. 
  • A catalytic converter was reported stolen from the intersection of Reavis Barracks Road and Highway 55. 

Sept. 5

Police arrested a suspect for stealing more than $500 in cash from a business on the 6600 block of Lindbergh Boulevard.

Sept. 6

  • Jewelry and money was reported stolen from a home on the 600 block of Buckley Road. 
  • A stolen teal, 1995 Chevy Astro van was recovered from the 800 block of Alleghany Avenue. 
  • A purse, cell phone and credit cards were reported stolen from a vehicle on the 4500 block of Lemay Ferry Road. 

Sept. 7

  • No injuries were reported when victims were shot at in front of a home on the 9900 block of Lark Avenue.
  • Jewelry was reported stolen from a residence on the 2500 block of Black Water Drive.
  • At approximately 10 p.m., was grabbed and dragged to a dark area behind the school. The victim was able to scream and breakaway from the suspect, who fled the scene on foot. The suspect is described as a white male wearing a black hoodie and shorts. He is approximately 5 feet, 8 inches to 6 feet tall.
  • A catalytic converter was reported stolen from the intersection of Lindbergh Boulevard and Highway 55.

Sept. 9

A white, 1992 Chevy Blazer was reported stolen from the 9500 block of Kirchner Avenue. 

Sept. 10

A firearm was reported stolen from a vehicle on the 6900 block of S. Lindbergh Boulevard.

Also, the South County Precinct will be having its annual Neighborhood Watch Picnic at Cliff Cave Park this Thursday Sept. 15 beginning at 5 p.m.  Come meet your local police officers and enjoy some BBQ.
