Police Bust Man for Making Meth in Walmart Arrest

St. Louis County Police said the man was stealing items to make methamphetamine.

A Mehlville man was April 19 with attempting to make methamphetamine after he was caught stealing cold medicine Dec. 26 at the , St. Louis County Police said in a report.

According to the report, Cody Gibbs, 39, of the 600 block of Beatrice Avenue, was caught stealing Sudafed and trespassing at the on Telegraph Road.

Police said Gibbs had a plastic bag with Sudafed containing pseudoephedrine, Coleman camp fuel, and 25 feet of tubing. All are used to make meth.
