In Missouri it is not against the law to have a loaded gun in your vehicle without having a concealed permit. The court has ruled that the Castle doctrine applys to your car along with your house. I would sure like to see some of these thugs surprised when they try things like this. Its a darn shame that we should have to worry about things like this when we go grocery shopping. I'm afraid it will only get worse during the Christmas shopping season and county police need to step up the parking lot patrols. Not only might they prevent some of this crime but they can also ticket the jerks that park in handicapped spots illegally.

Time of day this happened? Also, the article states: "The victim said he’d been sitting in the car in the parking lot when the robber was forced out of the car by the man with the gun and ordered to lie on the ground..." This reports that the robber was forced onto the ground by the man with a gun. This makes no sense. Please proof read and edit the content more vigilantly.
