The 2-year-old boy walked out of the apartment home's door, which was left open by an older sibling, police say.

A toddler found wandering alone at a South County apartment complex Thursday morning has been reunited with his father.

A groundskeeper at Port Apartments in the 2700 block of Deloak found the child wandering around the complex around 11:15 a.m., said Off. Mike Schira, of the St. Louis County Police Department's South County Precinct.

He said the 2-year-old boy, who was wearing only a diaper and a shirt, was returned to his father shortly afterward.
