Woman Robbed on Telegraph Road by Two Men

The woman's purse was stolen at gunpoint, but the gun turned out to be an air pistol, police said.

Two men robbed a woman with an air pistol that looked like a handgun Sunday night.

Police said the men approached the woman, who was walking north on the 3100 block of Telegraph Road. One tried to grab her purse and the other pointed a gun at her. She struggled and the suspect with the gun pulled the trigger. The gun "clicked," according to police, and the victim relinquished her purse.

Police searched for both suspects on foot. One ran into and the other was arrested for robbery in the first degree. Police are looking for the other suspect.
