Vacuums, Other Household Items Popular Amongst Thieves

The following information was supplied by the St. Louis County Police Department's South County Precinct for the period ending May 11. Arrests or charges mentioned in this report do not indicate convictions.

May 5

  • Police responded to a felony theft incident where a credit card and driver’s license was stolen in the 4500 block of Lemay Ferry Rd.  
May 6
  • An unspecified number of purses were stolen in the 6900 block of South Lindbergh Boulevard. 
  • A tilt trailer was stolen in the 3500 block of Union Road.   
May 7
  • Someone stole a 2013 Yamaha motorcycle from the 2600 block of Elkhill Drive. 
  • A second-degree robbery occurred at the intersection of Kingston Drive and Carrington Lane, where someone robbed the money, identification, books and debit card by force from someone else.   
May 8
  • Police responded to a stealing incident in the 4300 block of Hoffmeister Avenue, where a purse, credit cards and money were stolen. 
  • A silver 2010 Nissan Sentra was reported stolen in the 7400 block of South Lindbergh Boulevard. 
  • Someone stole electronics from the 800 block of Erskine Avenue. 
  • Money and jewelry were taken in the 1000 block of Wachtel Avenue. 
  • Police recovered a stolen 2010 Harley Davidson Motorcycle in the 300 block of Orient Avenue. 
  • Money was stolen from the 6000 block of Telegraph Road.   
May 9
  • A blender and vacuum were stolen from the 3200 block of Telegraph Road. 
  • A stealing incident took place in the 6200 block of Heimos Industrial Park Drive where a laptop was stolen.   
May 10
  • A cell phone was stolen in the 7000 block of Lindbergh Boulevard.   
May 11
  • Police responded to an incident of stealing and first-degree assault as someone stole a white 2010 Hyundai Sonata an displayed a firearm. The car was later recovered. 
  • A TV was stolen from the 1800 block of Union Road. 
  • Police responded to the theft of a green 1998 Toyota Camry in the 3500 block of Chaplou Drive. 
  • Vacuums, lawn mower and wet vac were taken from a residence in the 1300 block of Telegraph Road.
