Woman Reports Sexual Assault at South County Apartment Complex

The following information was supplied by the St. Louis County Police Department's South County Precinct for the period ending March 28. Arrests or charges mentioned in this report do not indicate convictions.

Monday, March 25

  • An iPod, change and CDs were reported stolen from an unlocked Nissan Xterra in the 800 block of Alleghany.
  • A man told police that his two vehicles were broken into on Casa Brazilia between Saturday night and Sunday morning. Both front passenger windows were shattered on the cars, but nothing was reported missing. 

Tuesday, March 26

  • The store manager at New York & Company at South County Center reported that she stopped two women between 18 and 25 years old for concealing merchandise. After she recovered the items the women ran off. About 30 to 45 minutes later she received a call at the store from someone who told her the next time she stopped a shoplifter, they would hurt her.
  • A cell phone was reported stolen in the 3200 block of Lemay Ferry Rd.

  • A 1986 Chrysler Town and Country station wagon was reported stolen in the 2800 block of Telegraph Rd. The victim said the doors were locked.
  • Over the weekend someone tried to steal a 2000 Caterpillar Bobcat while it was parked at a construction site at Karlshrue and Blue Ridge.
  • A woman reported she was sexually assaulted by a man who lives in her apartment complex in the 4400 block of El Paulo Ct. The man was arrested for first-degree sexual misconduct.
