Jump Into the Outdoor Pool Season

It is certainly fun to swim all winter in the area's indoor aquatic facilities, but there is nothing like swimming in the fresh outdoors under the summer sun.

For most area pools, Memorial Day weekend officially kicks off the outdoor swimming season. Most area public pools open Saturday, but there are some exceptions as noted below.

Be sure to pack plenty of sunscreen in your swim bag before you head for your favorite aquatic venue.

Please note before you go that special events, holidays, weather conditions and schedule changes may affect hours and dates of operation as well as pricing. Always check with the individual pool to confirm times and prices.
