Lanes Shift on Route 141 at Route 21 Starting Tonight

Crews will begin shifting traffic lanes at 7 p.m.

The Missouri Department of Transportation and its contractor Krupp
Construction will shift all lanes of northbound and southbound Route 141 at
Route 21 tonight, weather permitting.

Crews will begin shifting traffic lanes at 7 p.m. The shift is expected to
be completed by 5 a.m. Friday morning. Once completed, the lanes will be
divided, with the work zone in the middle of both northbound and southbound
lanes. The left turns from Route 141 to Route 21 will be closed during the
bridge work with signed detours.

Weather permitting, overnight on Friday, June 17 and Saturday, June 18,
traffic on Route 21 will be detoured up and then back down on the entrance
and exit ramps. Crews will be removing sections of the old driving surface
on the Route 141 bridge.

This project is expected to be completed in fall 2011.
