Rep. Haefner has been married to Greg Haefner for 37 years and has lived in Oakville for the past 32 years, moving here after Greg's service as a Naval Officer.  She has three children, Melissa (teacher), Mark (attorney) and Lauren (sales executive), all Oakville Sr. High graduates and graduates from colleges in Missouri.  She has three granddaughters, two attending Oakville Sr. High, one attending Queen of All Saints. Marsha and Greg began their local business, Haefner's Farm & Greenhouses (dba "For The Garden") 32 years ago. 

As a small business owner, she has employed over 800 local residents, and has volunteered time and efforts towards programs in the Mehlville School District and other area schools. 

Their business is a charter member of the South County Chamber, and they have been honored by the Chamber as "Citizens of the Year". 

Rep. Haefner was selected to serve as the Republican representative on the Missouri Women's Council, and was recently asked to serve on Governor Nixon's Task Force for the Prevention of Child Sexual Abuse. As a state representative she has served on the following committees in the House of Representatives:
