MoDOT Informs Drivers of Weekend Work

MoDOT will have eastbound I-64 closed between Jefferson and the Poplar Street Bridge from 7 p.m. Friday, April 29 until 3 a.m. Monday, May 2 for repair work. As part of that closure, crews will have ramps from Ewing, Pine Street and 6th Street and the ramp to Forest Park closed.

Two lanes on the Poplar Street Bridge in each direction will be closed from 8 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday. The ramp from the Poplar Street Bridge to southbound I-55 will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday until 9 a.m. Saturday, April 30.

Additionally, MoDOT will have one lane only open on westbound I-64 between the Poplar Street Bridge and 14th Street from 6 a.m. Saturday, April 30, until 3 a.m. Monday, May 2. As part of that work, crews will have the ramps from Broadway and 10th Street closed.

Motorists should be aware of the following ongoing closures:

  ·    I-55, St. Louis City, Delor Street across I-55 is closed for bridge
     replacement.
  ·    I-55, St. Louis City, Holly Hills across I-55 is closed for bridge
     replacement.
  ·    I-64, St. Louis City, eastbound 11th Street exit ramp closed weekdays
     9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  ·    I-55, Jefferson County, on ramp from Route M to Southbound I-55.
  ·    I-55, Jefferson County, northbound I-55 exit to Route M closed until
     mid 2011.

Thursday, April 28

  ·    I-55, St. Louis City, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. two southbound lanes closed at
     4500 Broadway.

  ·    I-70, St. Louis City, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., one westbound lane closed at
     Cass Avenue.

  ·    I-70, St. Louis City, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., reversible lanes closed.

  ·    I-55, St. Louis City, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., one northbound lane closed at
     Holly Hills.

  ·    I-55, St. Louis City, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., one northbound lane closed at
     Delor.

  ·    I-55, Jefferson County, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., one northbound lane closed
     at Route M.

  ·    I-55, Jefferson County, 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., one southbound lane
     closed at Route M.

  ·    Route 21, Jefferson County, 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., one lane closed at Old
     Gravois Road/Rock Creek.

  ·    Route 61, Jefferson County, 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., one lane closed at
     Glaize Creek/Route M.

Friday, April 29

  ·    I-64, St. Louis City, starting at 9 p.m., the exit ramp from the
     Poplar Street Bridge to southbound I-55 will be closed. The ramp
     reopens at 9 a.m. Saturday.

  ·    Poplar Street Bridge, St. Louis City, starting at 7 p.m. two lanes
     eastbound and westbound closed until 5 a.m. Monday.

  ·    I-55, St. Louis City, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., one northbound lane closed at
     Holly Hills.

  ·    I-55, St. Louis City, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., one northbound lane closed at
     Delor.

  ·    I-55, Jefferson County, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., one northbound lane closed
     at Route M.

     closed at Route M.

Saturday, April 30

  ·    I-64, St. Louis City, the exit ramp from the Poplar Street Bridge to
     southbound I-55 will be closed until 9 a.m.

  ·    I-64, St. Louis City, starting at 6 a.m., only one lane is open from
     the Poplar Street Bridge to 14th Street. The ramps from Broadway and
     10th street will be closed as well. All lanes will reopen by 3 a.m.
     Monday.

  ·    Poplar Street Bridge, St. Louis City, all day, two lanes eastbound
     and westbound closed until 5 a.m. Monday.

Sunday, May 1

  ·    Poplar Street Bridge, St. Louis City, all day, two lanes eastbound
     and westbound closed until 5 a.m. Monday.
