Last Wednesday, hundreds filled the gym of St. Paul's United Church of Christ to find out about the National Church Residences senior living complex planned to be built on Telegraph Road, in Oakville.
After State Rep. (R) Marsha Haefner told the group what she knew about the situation, she, attorney Mark Haefner, and assistant to County Executive Jonathan Boesch took questions, and there were plenty.
They had to do with HUD regulations, who will live in the housing, concerns with the building being built close to Goddard School, what they can do to stop or slow down the development, among others.
