Who's Donating to the Klund, Ryan Campaigns for Mehlville Fire Board?
Ed Ryan's campaign committee has far outraised and outspent opponent Mike Klund's.
In his drive for re-election to a seat on the Mehlville Fire Protection District's board, Ed Ryan's campaign committee far outraised Mike Klund's.
That's according to campaign finance reports filed with St. Louis County last week. Ryan, an incumbent who serves as the board's secretary, raised $7,724 in contributions against Klund's $884.
In addition to the contributions, Ryan received a $4,500 loan from Aaron Hilmer, the fire board's chairman.

The gap in fundraising allowed Ryan to spend more than his challenger. Ryan spent about $4,800 this election on yard signs, fliers and mailers. Klund hasn't spent any of his committee's funds, according to the reports.
