350 Mehlville School District Students Compete in Academic Olympics
District students have been participating in the Olympics for 30 years.
More than 350 students converged at Feb. 26 to compete in the annual Academic Olympics. A district staple, the Olympics give students a chance to show off their math, spelling, storytelling, writing and oratory skills.
Hundreds of teachers, parents and residents supported the elementary and middle school students.
The Mehlville Retired Educators hosted the competition, headed by Sandy Applegate.
