Beasley Elementary Transformed into Food and Fun Festival

Only in its second year, the Taste of Beasley doubled in size and fed hungry families throughout the community Wednesday night. 

With more than 20 restaurants and 30 vendors filling , the Beasley PTO considered the event a success. 

Co-chairs Amy Crawford and Dawn Townsend organized the Taste and hope to surpass the $2,400 it raised last year. 

This year's funds will be used for educational technology projects, including Smartboards and flip cameras. The PTO will coordinate with teachers on what to purchase for the kids.
