Beasley Honored by Rams for Character Fitness

The school combined health with service for the 2011-2012 school year.

The St. Louis Rams, along with an initiative of the Cooperating School Districts honored as a 2012 Character Fitness Model School.

Only four schools in St. Louis earned the recognition for implementing successful health, nutrition, character development and physical exercise programs throughout the year.

“Beasley Elementary is working hard to promote healthy living for all staff, students and their families,” said Beasley Elementary Principal Andrea Deane in a district release. “We integrated fitness activities as a part of our school-wide positive behavior efforts, and we combined fitness with community service to help our neighbors as part of our District’s Project ENGAGE Plus service learning program.”
