Look Good...Feel Better

St. Anthony's Medical Center and the American Cancer Society offer a free seminar for women undergoing cancer treatment, to help them cope with the ways that side effects of treatment can affect their appearences. Besides hair loss, women can also experience changes in their complexion and fingernails.

A cosmetologist will teach women makeup techniques and ways of disguising hair loss with wigs, scarves and accessories. The idea is to help women deal with the emotional effects of these changes and regain their self confidence and a sense of control. Participants will take home free makeup kits.

Program is free, but registration required.
