Safe Space Saturday
Safe Space Saturday is a free support group at St. Anthony's for teens grieving the death of a loved one. Share stories and honor the life of the deceased, while talking about the grieving process and what comes next.
“The death of someone loved can be an especially difficult experience for adolescents and teens,” said Diane Hans, bereavement coordinator for St. Anthony’s Hospice. “Safe Space Saturday provides a therapeutic, caring environment where young people can come together to process their losses with others who have had similar experiences.”
The group is for teens from age 11 to 17 years, and meets on the first Saturday of every month.
