Mehlville Teens Advance in Talent Competition
Students from Mehlville High School made it to the semifinals in the St. Louis Teen Talent Showcase Competition.
Two local performers are advancing to the semifinal round of the St. Louis Teen Talent Competition.
The talented teens are Mehlville High School's and . Bitter is a singer and guitarist, while Smith sang and tap-danced her way to the finals.
narrowed the field from more than 100 to only 32 acts. Winners at the competition will earn thousands of dollars in scholarships, and universities and organizations, such as Lindenwood University or The Muny, are also offering scholarships and prizes.

The semifinals will be March 31. The final 12 will perform at The Fabulous Fox Theater on April 27.
