Oakville High School Athletics to Receive Money in Drive One 4UR School Program

Test drive a car at Dave Sinclair Ford tomorrow and $20 will go toward the athletics program.

Oakville High School and on Lindbergh and Lemay Ferry have teamed up in an effort to raise $6,000 for Oakville High School athletics. Test drive a new Taurus, Fusion, Hybrid, Milan, MKT and more from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, April 9, and $20 will go toward the athletic fund at Oakville High School.

“We know how important extracurricular activities are to our high school students, and as part of this community, we want to help,” Dean Weiss, sales representative from Dave Sinclair, said in a statement. “This is why we’re excited to raise money for Oakville High, meanwhile introducing parents, teenagers and other drivers to our high-quality lineup and innovative safety technologies.”

The Drive One 4UR School program has been around since late 2007, and raises money for schools all over the country. Since the start of the program, more than 275,000 test drives at more than 1,500 events have raised more than $5 million in donations for nationwide high schools.

There is no pressure to buy a vehicle; drivers must be 18 or older with a valid driver’s license and there can only be one driver per household.
