Riverview Gardens to Select Second School for Transfer Students

Riverview Gardens School District is now faced with a difficult decision. The school district must select a second school district with which to send students wishing to attend an accredited school.

The Mehlville School District is Riverviews's transfer selection of choice, but after some research, Dr. Eric Knost, the superintendent of the Mehlville School District has told FOX 2 they only have room for about one-third of the Riverview Gardens students who have applied.

Mehlville officials say just about 400 Riverview students have applied to attend school in the district. Riverview Gardens District now has the tough decision of  selecting a second district where it will provide free bus transportation.
