Cal Ripken Jr. Visits St. Louis Area

Event coordinators said Ripkin Jr. inducted the nephew of action Kevin Kline, also named Kevin Kline, into the hall of fame Tuesday. Kline graduated from Oakville High School.

Major League Baseball Hall of Famer, Cal Ripken, Jr. is in Town and Country Tuesday, as the Master of Ceremonies for a hall of fame that’s not baseball.

Ripkin Jr. will help to induct an area resident into the Energizer Keep Going Hall of Fame at the headquarters in Town and Country.

A spokesperson for the event said it's an effort to recognize everyday people. The hall of fame was started six years ago, according to event coordinators, to honor those people who share the "keep going spirit" of the Energizer Bunny and use their spirit to have a positive impact and make a difference in their community.
