Ride to Unite

The Delta Gamma Center for Children with Visual Impairments and Recreation Council of Greater St. Louis join forces again to host a charity bicycle ride.  The Ride to Unite (formerly known as Tour de Unitė) brings cyclists of all abilities together to cruise through St. Louis and raise funds to support cycling for children with disabilities.   The event will start on the race course for The Gateway Cup, a competitive race traditionally held over the Labor Day Weekend.  Cyclists will be able to participate in several exciting event components including a celebrity start with St. Louis Blues player BJ Crombeen. After exiting the race course, cyclists can traverse St. Louis on a well marked and supported route of their choosing from three different lengths; 4, 11 or a 32 mile course. All three courses loop back and end at Francis Park.   Participants shouldn’t leave without joining the festivities.   The event includes an after-ride-bash from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Festivities include a celebrity meet and greet, music, food and refreshments, vendor booths, photo booth, special awards and prizes and a front row seat to watch the exciting Gateway Cup races.
