Mehlville Takes Big Tumble In 41-3 Loss At Fox Friday Night

Panthers turn the ball over six times and were held without a touchdown in humbling loss to surging Fox.

The Fox High football team improved its record to 3-1 Friday night with a scintillating 41-3 Homecoming Night victory over visiting Mehlville.

Senior running back Jimmy Huskey rushed for 162 yards and scored four touchdowns to the lead the Fox offense, while the Warrior defense forced six turnovers and didn't give up a touchdown for the second straight week.

Mehlville scored first on a 28-yard field goal by junior Chris Simmons on the first possession.

But then Fox scored 41 unanswered points to cruise to a victory that kept it tied with Lafayette and Parkway South atop the Suburban West league standings.

The Panthers fell to 1-3 on the year.
