Mehlville Volleyball Ends Season to Fox

The Warriors defeated the Panthers in two games.

After 27 years of coaching, all Susan Hurt can do is be patient.

Mehlville volleyball ended its season Tuesday night against Fox in the first round of districts in two games, 25-16 and 25-12.

"We acted like we never played before," Hurt said. "We didn't have good coverage, we weren't moving."

Hurt put in two JV players to try and stop the Warrior charge, but no combination of players could do the trick.

"We just have a young team," Hurt said. "Hopefully we can get some more talent coming up next year."
