The Mehlville High School boys track team competed at St. John Vianney High School Tuesday.

The Mehlville Panthers boys track team traveled to St. John Vianney High School Tuesday night to compete against the area's top schools.

Donald Allen and Mason Miller took sixth and seventh in the 110-meter hurdles with times of 16.80 and 16.90 seconds while Christian Simon placed sixth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 53.9 seconds.

Head Coach Jay Holtmeyer was pleased with freshman Simon's time in the race, as well as the entire meet.

"Overall this meet was good to get ready for districts and give everyone an opportunity to compete," Holtmeyer said. "This meet is smaller and a good place for certain kids who don't always get to compete to run."

The Panthers will next compete Saturday at Kirkwood High School.
