Schools, Going Green
The district estimated an annual savings of $130,000 when they approved solar panelling for five buildings.
Construction on the new courts at Bernard Middle School was completed earlier this year.
That's one proposal under consideration by the Mehlville Board of Education.
It was all part of a friendly bet during a student fundraiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Dr. Patrick Keenoy is currently an assistant principal at Washington and Trautwein schools.
The longtime reporter and producer will serve as the district's new communications specialist.
