Man Leaves Behind Alcohol-Soaked Underwear After Airport Bar Break-In

The man broke into the Pasta House restaurant at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport and raided the bar.

A man was arrested by Lambert-St. Louis International Airport security agents after he broke into a closed Pasta House restaurant, leaving his cell phone and alcohol-soaked underwear behind. David M. LaPrade, 24 of Southampton, MA, was charged with second-degree burglary and property damage. Airport Police said LaPrade was caught on security cameras as he tore a security gate off its hinges to get into the closed restaurant Sunday evening. An airport official said it was late at night and the area was deserted. Airport Police said they discovered LaPrade’s alcohol-soaked underwear, T-shirt and cell phone behind the restaurant’s bar. Lambert's Concourse C Reopens

A tornado practically destroyed the concourse barely a year ago.

One year later, Lambert-St. Louis International Airport is whole again.  Concourse C, which was devastated in a tornado that touched down barely a year ago (see the video above), reopened Monday. Mayor Francis Slay cut the ribbon, officially marking the concourse as being ready for business. "The repairs and renovations have made the C Concourse look better than ever," Slay said on the airport's website. "I'm confident that these repairs and upgrades will make traveling through Lambert International Airport an even more enjoyable experience." Apparent Tornado Rips Though Lambert Airport Causing Major Damage, Injuries; Airport Closed

A powerful storm pounded St. Louis Lambert International Airport on Friday evening.

Lambert-St. Louis International Airport is closed until further notice, after an apparent tornado caused major damage and injuries on Friday evening. At a news conference at the airport on Friday night, St. Louis Mayor Francis Slay said the airport was hit by a severe storm with heavy winds and that there was a sighting of a tornado, but that had not been confirmed. "That storm caused significant damage to the airport, specifically to Terminal One,  where most of the damage occurred," Slay said.  Power was out to the airport Friday night and four people were transferred to the hospital with minor injuries, the mayor said.
