Police Raid Possible Meth Lab in Oakville, Again

The home was raided Tuesday.

For the second time at this address, St. Louis County Police raided a south St. Louis County home housing a possible meth lab. The raid happened Tuesday in a well manicured Oakville neighborhood. According to Fox 2 News, officers arrived at the home in the 5200 block of Camelot Estates Drive a little before 3 p.m. Tuesday afternoon. Neighbors say one car arrived, followed by a swarm of police. “It didn’t take but a couple of minutes there were probably ten marked police cars, a fire truck , and then later on an ambulance came because there was a young person, a little child that was in the house,” neighbor Don Seper told Fox 2. Arrest Warrant Leads to Meth Lab Discovery in Oakville

A child was found inside the home, which contained an inactive meth lab, drugs and several stolen cars at a house on Camelot Estates Drive.

After serving an arrest warrant at an Oakville home, St. Louis County police found the remains of a meth lab. Police say they arrested a man from Jefferson County who had several outstanding warrants and a woman who was with him at the home in the 5200 block of Camelot Estates Drive. While at the home, police found an inactive meth lab, drugs, guns and several items that had been stolen, including five cars, a motorcycle and an ATV, said Sgt. Dave Ryan, of the St. Louis County Police Department's Fourth Precinct.
