Oakville Dental Care is giving $1 for every pound of candy, which will be sent to American soldiers.
Help your kids feed their piggy banks instead of their tummys this Halloween at Oakville Dental Care's candy buy-back. The dental office is offering $1 for each pound of leftover Halloween candy brought in, and the candy is donated to American troops. Plus, for every candy donation, kids get a special goodie bag and are entered into a drawing to win a grand prize of a $50 gift card. To swap your candy, bring it to Oakville Dental Care at 6076 Telegraph Road during one of the following times: Call 314-487-0333 with questions.

Patch is looking for experts who can talk teeth and offer their expertise this week.
This week on Halloween, kids across the nation will go from house-to-house with one goal: Fill their bags with as much candy as possible. In the latest edition of "Ask the Patch Pro" we need local experts who can answer readers' questions and offer advice. If you are a local dentist or consider yourself an expert and can answer these questions and more, let us know two ways. One: You can leave a comment on this post. Two: You can send an email to jordan.lanham@patch.com. We need experts to answer …

Janet Dodson was a human resources executive with a major corporation for five years. Then came the recession of 2008 and Dodson had to rethink her career plan. Always creative and artistic, she had often dreamed of opening her own gift shop. This seemed like the perfect time to bring her dream to fruition. As you enter, you are faced with a classic glass candy counter filled with hand dipped and decorated chocolates. Tempting samples sit on the counter. The sweet scent of potpourri and candles gently filled the air. A walk-through the shop revealed cards, candles, figurines…
