Three Hospitalized Following Car Crash in Mehlville Thursday

Three people were taken to the hospital following a three-car crash Wednesday on I-255 at Koch Road in Mehlville, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) report. According to the MSHP, Michael Kossina, 45, of Columbia, IL was travelling westbound on Interstate 255 when he struck a 2010 Hyundai Accent being driven by Ashley M. Young, 21 of St. Louis, causing her to veer into a 2005 Ford 500 driven by Robert J. Parker, 49, of Jerseyville, IL. Parker's and Young's vehicles travelled off the roadway and overturned. Both were transported by Mehlville Ambulance to St. Anthony's Medical Center, as was Mary Parker, who was a passenger in the Ford 500.
