An Oakville High School senior has been named Mehlville Optimist Club's Student of the Month. Mikey Bellinger won the award for April. Mikey was praised for his involvement in charitable activities at the school. Congrats to Mikey from Patch!

Congratulations to Lindbergh High School seniors Ananya Benegal and Lauren Dierkes, who were recognized Nov. 14 at the Mehlville Optimist Club Youth Appreciation Breakfast. Both students were nominated by their Key Club sponsor, Kim Dailey, for their citizenship, leadership, academic success and community service. Ananya is a member of Premedica, UNICEF Club, and Environmental Club, and is Key Club president. She has received numerous awards including: Teacher's Choice, Presidential Service Awards, Renaissance Platinum Award, Princeton Book Award, AP Scholar with Distinction, Principal's Scholar Award, and most recently National Merit Semifinalist.
